DineOpen POS System Review 2027: Pricing, Plans and Verdict
How we make money: CanComCo earns a commission from some POS and payments vendors when a business we refer signs up. Commission never changes a rating or a price we publish.
DineOpen is not on our recommended list. We review it because readers ask about it, and we link to it so you can check our figures. We do not place it in any shortlist or top-picks table on this site.
DineOpen at a Glance
| None. Capterra 0.0 from 0 reviews. G2 listing with no score and no review count. No Trustpilot page found. This is an absence of evidence, not a low score. | |
| $20/month on Starter, one outlet. Growth $50, Pro $99 for two outlets, Enterprise custom for three or more. | |
| 0%, charged by DineOpen. It is not the processor. You pay Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe or PayPal at their own rates. | |
| Monthly plans are pay-as-you-go and cancellable anytime. Annual plans cancel at the end of the term. Plan changes are prorated and immediate. | |
| 7-day trial on all plans, no credit card. No free plan on DineOpen's page, though Capterra's listing says "Includes Free Version." | |
| None sold. Runs on web and Android tablet, with a merchant-supplied thermal printer for kitchen tickets. | |
| Built for India and the Gulf: GST billing, UPI, Swiggy and Zomato, khata ledgers. Regional pricing in AED, SAR, KWD, BHD and OMR. USD and GBP are currency options, not confirmed availability. | |
| An AI voice agent that answers calls, takes orders and books tables. No other vendor on this site sells one. | |
| Zero published reviews anywhere, and Capterra's listed prices are half the vendor's own. | |
| Reviewed, not recommended. DineOpen is not on our recommended list and appears in no shortlist on this site. |

DineOpen Pricing: What You'll Actually Pay
DineOpen publishes four tiers and prices three of them, which already puts it ahead of several vendors on this site. The catch is the 0%, which describes what DineOpen charges rather than what accepting a card costs you.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Outlets | Key inclusions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $20/month | 1 | Unlimited orders, menu items and staff accounts. Cloud POS on web and Android tablet, kitchen ticket printing, QR menu and ordering, GST bill printing, basic inventory, daily sales reports, AI voice ordering, captain app. WhatsApp and email support. |
| Growth | $50/month | 1 | Everything in Starter plus AI menu generation, AI insights, AI sales assistant, iOS captain app, kitchen display, advanced inventory, tiered pricing, loyalty and credit ledger, table reservations, branded online ordering, WhatsApp ordering bot, advanced analytics. Priority chat and phone support. |
| Pro | $99/month | 2 | Everything in Growth plus centralized chain dashboard, cross-outlet analytics, centralized menu and staff management, outlet-wise profit and loss, API access, Swiggy and Zomato sales tracking, custom roles, dedicated onboarding. Priority 24/7 support. |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited, 3+ | Everything in Pro plus a customer success manager, custom integrations, on-site training, white-label customer app, custom reports, SLA-backed uptime, contract billing. |
Annual billing saves about 17%, which DineOpen describes as two months free. The arithmetic checks out: 12 months of Starter at $20 is $240, paying for 10 is $200, and $40 off $240 is 16.67%. The annual figures themselves sit behind a toggle rather than on the page, so compare the percentage, not a dollar total.
Two price conflicts you should know about
Capterra lists different prices. Capterra shows a Starter Plan at $10.00 and a Professional Plan at $30.00, both flat rate per month. DineOpen's own page shows $20, $50, $99 and custom. Capterra's Starter is exactly half the vendor's figure and its Professional tier matches no DineOpen plan by name or price. We use the vendor's figures. If you check Capterra you will get a different answer.
Capterra says there is a free version. DineOpen's pricing page shows none, with Starter at $20 as the entry point. Do not plan around a free plan until DineOpen confirms one.
What accepting a card actually costs
| Transaction type | Charged by DineOpen | Charged by your processor |
|---|---|---|
| In person | 0% | Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe or PayPal at their own published rates |
| Online | 0% | Same |
| Keyed | 0% | Same |
| UPI in India | 0% | 0% through the recommended Paytm integration |
DineOpen states it charges 0% transaction fees and that you pay your payment processor's standard rates. Outside India, only Stripe and PayPal of the four named are widely available in North America, so a US or Canadian restaurant is signing a second contract on terms this page does not cover.
Real monthly cost
REAL MONTHLY COST
A single-outlet restaurant on Starter doing $12,000 a month in card volume across 600 transactions:
DineOpen software: $20.00
Card processing: not DineOpen's, and not published here. It depends which of Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe or PayPal you sign with.
Compare an all-in-one. Square's free plan on the same volume: $12,000 x 0.026 = $312.00, plus 600 x $0.15 = $90.00, so $402.00 a month, software included.
For DineOpen to come out ahead, your processor has to cost less than $382.00 a month on that volume, which is an effective rate under 3.18%, because $382 divided by $12,000 = 3.18%.
Most processors sit well below that, so the DineOpen plus processor route is likely cheaper. You cannot confirm it from DineOpen's page alone, because the second half of the bill is not on it.
About DineOpen's competitor comparisons
DineOpen's pricing page states that Square charges 2.6% and Toast charges 2.49%. We checked both against the vendors' own pages in November 2026.
Square publishes 2.6% plus 15 cents per transaction on its free plan, 2.5% + 15 cents on Plus and 2.4% + 15 cents on Premium, with online at 3.3% + 30 cents. The 2.6% is real for one plan on one channel. Dropping the 15 cents understates it.
Toast publishes no card processing rate at all on its pricing page. We could not find the 2.49% figure on anything Toast publishes. Treat it as unverified.

DineOpen Features: What Works and What Doesn't
Written from DineOpen's published pages and from its Capterra listing. No one at CanComCo has operated this product, and no customer anywhere has published a review of it, so everything below is a described capability rather than a demonstrated one.
The AI agent, and what is actually known about it
This is the product's real differentiator and the hardest thing to assess. Capterra describes the AI Agent as a digital employee handling customer interactions by voice, WhatsApp and web around the clock, managing calls, processing orders, taking reservations and suggesting add-ons. Growth adds an AI menu generator, AI insights and an AI sales assistant. No other vendor on this site sells a voice agent that answers the phone. It is also the single claim most in need of corroboration, and with zero published reviews there is none. Ask for a live demo on your own phone line before you buy on the strength of it.
Point of sale and ordering
Cloud POS runs on web and Android tablet from Starter, with a captain or waiter app for table-side ordering, Android only at Starter and Android plus iOS from Growth. QR menu and ordering works on customers' phones with no app download. Branded online ordering and a WhatsApp ordering bot arrive at Growth. Split checks and tip management are not confirmed anywhere in the material we read, which matters for a full-service restaurant.
Inventory, kitchen and tables
Basic inventory tracking is in Starter. Growth upgrades it to recipes, vendors and stock alerts, and adds a kitchen display system, table management and reservations, loyalty and a khata credit ledger. Multi-tier pricing for AC, non-AC and takeaway also lands at Growth, which is a specifically Indian requirement and a good signal of who this product was built for.
Chain management and API
Pro at $99 covers two outlets with a centralized chain dashboard, cross-outlet analytics, centralized menu and staff management, and outlet-wise profit and loss. API access starts here. Swiggy and Zomato aggregator sales tracking is also Pro-only. Enterprise adds custom integrations and a white-label customer app. No API documentation URL was published on the pages we read.
Market fit: built for India and the Gulf
GST bill printing, kitchen ticket printing, the captain app, Swiggy and Zomato, khata credit ledgers, AC and non-AC pricing tiers, and UPI through Paytm at 0% are all specific to India. Regional pricing exists in AED, SAR, KWD, BHD and OMR. Two independent directories agree on the fit: Capterra files DineOpen under Restaurant Management and Waitlist, drawing its feature benchmark from 1,457 Waitlist reviews, and G2's alternatives for DineOpen are mostly reservation and guest-management products such as OpenTable, SevenRooms and Eat App rather than POS systems. Nothing we read establishes US or Canadian sales tax handling or North American aggregator connections.
What is not confirmed
Product variants, barcode scanning, split checks, tip management, appointment booking, customer profiles and CRM, gift cards, employee time tracking and payroll, offline mode and in-product multi-currency are all absent from the material we read. The eight currencies on the pricing page are display options for buying the software, not evidence the POS transacts in multiple currencies.
Feature lists verified against dineopen.com/pricing and Capterra in November 2026.
Hardware and Setup
DineOpen sells no hardware, and that is the design. Capterra's description says the POS processes orders and payments on any device without special hardware. The POS runs in a browser or on an Android tablet, the captain app runs on phones, and the QR menu runs on the customer's own phone with no app to download.
Two things you supply yourself. Kitchen ticket printing is included from Starter, which means a thermal printer you buy and connect. The Android tablet is yours too. Neither has a price on DineOpen's page because neither is DineOpen's to sell, so budget for both separately. No receipt printer, cash drawer or barcode scanner bundle exists, and barcode scanning is not confirmed as a feature at all.
DineOpen publishes no setup timeline. A dedicated onboarding session appears at Pro, and on-site training only at Enterprise, so a Starter or Growth customer is self-onboarding with WhatsApp, email or chat support. With no published reviews, nobody has reported how long that takes.
Verified against dineopen.com/pricing and Capterra in November 2026.
Customer Support: What to Expect When Things Break
Support is tiered by plan, and the tiering is steeper than most. DineOpen's own page gives Starter WhatsApp and email only. Phone support starts at Growth, $50 a month, alongside priority chat. Round-the-clock support starts at Pro, $99 a month. A dedicated customer success manager and on-site training are Enterprise only.
Capterra's listing tells a different story. It claims Email and Help Desk, FAQs and Forum, Knowledge Base, Phone Support, Chat and a 24/7 live representative, with no plan conditions attached to any of them. That contradicts DineOpen's own tiering, where phone is a $50 upgrade and 24/7 is a $99 one. We go with the vendor's page.
There is no published customer service score, because there are no reviews. We are not going to tell you support is good or bad. It is untested by any third party, and at the Starter tier you are relying on WhatsApp and email.

DineOpen Pros and Cons
Pros
- The lowest published entry price on this site. $20 a month with unlimited orders, unlimited menu items and unlimited staff accounts. The next cheapest comparable figure we've reviewed is Global Payments at $0, which carries 2.6% + 10 cents processing DineOpen does not charge.
- 0% platform transaction fees, stated plainly. DineOpen is not the processor and does not take a cut. That is a real structural advantage over an all-in-one, provided you negotiate the processor side yourself.
- An AI voice agent nothing else here sells. Answering calls, taking orders and booking tables by voice, WhatsApp and web.
- Clean, published commercial terms. Four tiers with three prices on the page, a 7-day trial with no card required, cancel-anytime monthly billing, prorated plan changes and an annual discount whose arithmetic checks out. Compare Clover's 36-month hardware financing.
- No hardware to buy from the vendor. Runs on a browser, an Android tablet and customers' own phones.
- Built properly for its market. GST billing, UPI at 0%, Swiggy and Zomato tracking and khata ledgers are specific, not generic.
Cons
- Zero published reviews, anywhere. Capterra 0.0 from 0 reviews. G2's listing carries no score and no review count. No Trustpilot page. A reader asking what customers say has no answer. This is the most important fact on the page.
- Capterra's prices are half the vendor's. $10 and $30 against DineOpen's $20, $50 and $99. Two sources that disagree by a factor of two undermine both.
- Capterra and the vendor disagree about a free plan. Capterra says "Includes Free Version." DineOpen's page shows no free tier.
- The AI claims are uncorroborated. Every AI capability here is a vendor description. Nobody has published an account of using any of it.
- Phone support costs $50 a month and 24/7 costs $99. Starter buys WhatsApp and email, which is thin for a restaurant mid-service.
- The feature set is built for India and the Gulf. Two directories file it outside POS. US and Canadian tax handling, aggregator connections and local card processing beyond Stripe and PayPal are unestablished. Currency options on a pricing page are not availability.
This profile suits a single-outlet Indian or Gulf operator who will take a 7-day trial and judge for themselves. It frustrates anyone who buys on evidence, and it is unproven for North America.
What Real Users Say About DineOpen
Nothing, and that is the finding.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capterra | 0.0 / 5 | 0 | Every sub-category also shows 0.0 from 0. Why there is no rating. Our method takes the unweighted mean of every product-specific published score. DineOpen has none: a 0.0 from zero reviews is not a score, it is an empty field, and averaging it would invent a verdict out of nothing. So this page says not yet rated and will carry a number when one exists.
Read the absence carefully. It is not a bad score. It also is not proof the product is new, because nothing we read establishes when DineOpen launched. What it does mean is that every claim on this page about what the software does comes from the company that sells it. For a $20 a month commitment with a 7-day trial, that may be an acceptable risk you test yourself. For a two-outlet Pro deployment at $99 a month with staff retraining behind it, it is a different proposition.
No recurring themes. There are no reviews to draw themes from.
Alternatives to DineOpen

Square POS
Consider this wherever you need evidence a POS works before committing.
Capterra scores Square Point of Sale 4.6 from 3,036 reviews against DineOpen's zero. Plans at $0, $49 and $149, every rate published, 30-day trial on the paid tiers. You give up: the AI voice agent, the $20 entry price, and the India and Gulf feature set. And note the real rate: Square's free plan is 2.6% plus 15 cents, not the flat 2.6% DineOpen's page cites.
from $0 a month
-
Toast POS
Consider this for a North American restaurant that needs a till, a kitchen display and card processing from one vendor with a real review base.
Capterra scores it 4.1 from 555 reviews and lists a starting price of US$69.00 plus a $0 Starter Kit. You give up: price, and transparency on processing. Toast's own pricing page publishes no plan price and no card rate, so the $69 is Capterra's figure rather than Toast's, and we could not verify the 2.49% DineOpen attributes to it.
from US$69.00 a month per Capterra
-
Petpooja, pricing not published
Consider this for an Indian restaurant that wants an established local incumbent.
DineOpen's own blog benchmarks itself against Petpooja repeatedly, so the vendor treats it as the comparison. Petpooja publishes plan names, Core, Growth and Scale, with a Basic column in its comparison table, but no prices at all: its page says local pricing varies by region and currency and asks you to contact them. It offers a free demo, not a trial. You give up: the ability to compare on cost, which is the one thing DineOpen does better than its own chosen benchmark.

DineOpen FAQ
How much does DineOpen cost?
Starter is $20 a month for one outlet, Growth $50, Pro $99 for two outlets, and Enterprise is custom-quoted for three or more. Annual billing saves about 17%. Capterra lists different prices, $10 and $30, which match no plan on DineOpen's own page.
Is DineOpen free?
There is no free plan on DineOpen's pricing page. There is a 7-day free trial on all plans with no credit card required. Capterra's listing says "Includes Free Version," which conflicts with the vendor's own page, so confirm before planning around it.
What does DineOpen charge per transaction?
0%. DineOpen does not process payments, so you pay your own processor's rates. It names Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe and PayPal, and says UPI is 0% through the recommended Paytm integration in India. The 0% is DineOpen's fee, not the cost of taking a card.
Does DineOpen have any customer reviews?
No. Capterra shows 0.0 from 0 reviews, G2's listing carries no score or review count, and no Trustpilot page exists. We publish no rating for DineOpen because no independent source publishes one.
What is the DineOpen AI Agent?
DineOpen and its Capterra listing describe it as a digital employee that handles customer interactions by voice, WhatsApp and web around the clock, managing calls, processing orders, taking reservations and suggesting add-ons. That is the vendor's description. No customer has published an account of using it, so test it on your own phone line during the trial.
Does DineOpen work in the US or Canada?
Unconfirmed. USD and GBP appear as currency options, which is not the same as availability. The feature set is built around GST, UPI, Swiggy, Zomato and khata ledgers, and nothing we read establishes US or Canadian tax handling or local aggregator connections. Canada is not mentioned anywhere on any page we read.
Can I cancel DineOpen?
Monthly plans are pay-as-you-go and cancellable anytime, per DineOpen's page. Annual plans cancel at the end of the term. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Enterprise uses contract-based billing.
What hardware do I need?
None from DineOpen, which sells none. The POS runs on web and an Android tablet, and the QR menu runs on customers' phones. You supply a thermal printer for kitchen tickets and the tablet itself.
Is DineOpen Right for Your Business?
On paper the offer is strong. $20 a month buys unlimited orders, unlimited menu items and unlimited staff accounts, DineOpen takes 0% of your transactions, the commercial terms are clean, the trial needs no card, and the AI voice agent is something no other vendor on this site sells. For a single-outlet Indian or Gulf restaurant, the feature list reads like it was written by someone who has run one: GST bills, kitchen tickets, a captain app, Swiggy and Zomato, khata ledgers and AC pricing tiers.
What you cannot do is check any of it. No customer review exists on any platform we searched, so every claim here is the vendor's own. Capterra, the one directory carrying a listing, prices the product at half what DineOpen does and says there is a free plan the vendor's page does not show. Two directories file it outside the POS category. Our advice is narrow and practical: if you are in India or the Gulf, take the 7-day trial, put the AI agent on your real phone line, and judge it yourself, because that trial is currently the only evidence available to anyone. If you are in North America, or if you need third-party proof before you commit staff training and a menu migration, this is not the one to start with.
