Our Accessibility Goal
WCAG 2.2, Level AA
We aim to design, build and maintain CloudBasedPOSSystem.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, where practical.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) publishes WCAG. Following it makes content more accessible to people with disabilities, with accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities and photosensitivity, and some accommodation for learning disabilities and cognitive limitations.
We keep reviewing and improving accessibility as our website, POS platform, content and services change.
Accessibility Measures
We aim to build accessibility into how we design, develop and maintain the site. We are working toward:
- Clear, consistent navigation
- A logical heading structure
- Keyboard access to navigation and controls
- Enough color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Readable font sizes and spacing
- Meaningful alternative text for informative images
- Descriptive links and buttons
- Form fields with clear labels
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Accessible error and validation messages
- Content you can enlarge without losing functionality
- Responsive layouts for different screen sizes and devices
- Information that doesn't rely on color alone
- Captions, transcripts or other alternatives for multimedia
- Compatibility with common assistive technologies
- Accessible sign-in, account and checkout processes as we build them
We also check accessibility when we add new components, integrations, documents and features.
Screen Readers and Assistive Technology
We aim to structure our content so common screen readers and other assistive technologies can interpret it. That means proper HTML structure, headings, labels and alternative text.
Assistive technologies, browsers, operating systems and user settings vary, so we can't guarantee identical results with every combination.
Color and Visual Design
We consider accessibility as part of our visual design system. We aim to keep enough contrast between text, controls and their backgrounds, and to avoid using color as the only way to convey important information.
You can also use your browser or operating system to adjust:
- Text size
- Page zoom
- Contrast
- Colors
- Motion
- Other display preferences
where your device or browser supports it.
Forms
We aim to give form fields clear labels, mark required fields and write error messages that tell you what went wrong and how to fix it.
If an accessibility barrier stops you from completing a form, contact us using the details below.
Documents and Downloadable Content
We aim to make important downloadable documents accessible. Some older files and vendor-supplied materials, such as brochures, manuals and PDFs, may not meet accessibility standards yet.
If you need information from a document in another format, contact us. We'll make reasonable efforts to provide it.
Videos and Multimedia
For important video or audio we publish, we aim to provide captions, transcripts, text descriptions or other alternatives where practical.
Embedded third-party media depends on the accessibility features of the platform that hosts it.
Third-Party Content and Services
Our site may link to, integrate with or embed content from third-party websites and services, such as:
- POS providers
- Payment processors
- Software vendors
- Video platforms
- Social media platforms
- Analytics services
- Scheduling services
- Customer-support tools
- Maps and other embedded services
We don't control the accessibility of third-party websites or platforms and can't guarantee they meet the standards we follow. We aim to factor accessibility into how we choose key technology providers and integrations.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the site may not yet meet our accessibility goals, including:
- Older content we haven't finished reviewing
- Third-party widgets and embedded services
- Some downloadable documents
- Images supplied by third parties
- Videos without complete captions or transcripts
- Complex interactive components
- New features still in accessibility testing
If we find an accessibility problem, we aim to assess it and make reasonable improvements based on its impact, technical complexity and the solutions available.
Alternative Access
If a disability makes any content, feature, document or service on our site hard to access, contact us. We'll work with you, where practical, to:
- Provide the information in another format
- Explain it through another communication method
- Help you access a service
- Find another way to complete your task
Tell us which format or accommodation works best for you.
Accessibility Feedback
We rely on your feedback to find and fix problems.
Contact us if you:
- Hit an accessibility barrier
- Can't use a feature
- Have trouble reading or navigating content
- Find an image without a suitable text alternative
- Run into a keyboard-navigation problem
- Have difficulty with a form
- Need content in another format
- Have suggestions for improving accessibility
If you can, include:
- The page or feature where you hit the issue
- A description of the barrier
- The browser or device you used
- Any assistive technology you used
- The format or solution that would help you

You don't need to tell us about a disability to report an accessibility issue.
Response to Accessibility Requests
5 business days to acknowledge your request
We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests and feedback within five business days. Complex technical issues may need more investigation. We'll tell you what action we're considering, or offer an alternative, where appropriate.
Accessibility Standards and Applicable Requirements
We use WCAG, published by the W3C, as the guide for our accessibility work.
For our Canadian operations, we monitor the federal and provincial accessibility requirements that may apply as our business grows. The requirements that apply depend on an organization's nature, size, jurisdiction and operations.
As we expand into other countries, we'll review their accessibility requirements and update our practices where appropriate.
Continuous Improvement
As CloudBasedPOSSystem.com grows, we intend to keep reviewing:
- Website templates and navigation
- Forms
- New features
- Customer account functionality
- POS software interfaces
- Mobile experiences
- Documents and multimedia
- Third-party integrations
We also intend to build accessibility into future redesigns and product development.
